Join us in Waco for classes. Help us celebrate 65 years of the Texas Chapter.
Convention is wonderful for everyone
- PreConvention Wednesday night Meet and Greet – Wednesday evening there will be a Meet and Greet for all local therapists, students, attendees, vendors, and instructors. Light hors d’oeuvres and soft beverages will be served. Dress for the weather and join us to meet and mingle with convention attendees from all around the state and beyond.
- Thursday morning registration starts registration opens at 7AM.
- Morning – Morning registration opens at 7AM Jump into wonderful classes several of which begin this morning! Exhibitors will be open as soon as they are set up and you can visit during your breaks and lunch periods.
- Midday – Light lunch is served. Visit exhibitors after you eat, but don’t forget to return to class. There is also a light snack during afternoon break.
- Evening is our Annual Membership Meeting & Dinner. If you are a Texas Chapter AMTA member, be sure to sign up for the dinner when you register. There is no additional fee, but you must sign up so we order a meal for you. A brief State of the Chapter is given by President Brenda Padilla. Election results are reported and awards are presented. This is also a great time to meet others from your area and network.
- Friday
- Morning & Mid-Day – A full day of excellent classes. Expect a light lunch and snack at afternoon break. Visit Exhibitors during both of these.
- Saturday – this is the last day of fabulous classes! Be present to learn and receive your CEs.
- Morning & Mid-Day – Again there is a light lunch and an afternoon snack. The last chance to visit exhibitors will be during lunchtime. They will be packing up to leave after lunch. Be sure to pick up any items they are holding for you before lunch ends.
- After class is the saddest time. Saying goodbye to friends old and new and “See you next year!”
