The Golden Triangle region of the Texas Chapter of the American Massage Therapy Association invites you to register for a two-day 12 hour CE class, Applied Muscle Anatomy: Palpation, Function, and Practice with Christy Miller.
Let’s explore the anatomy at a deeper level and find ways to identify the root cause of our clients pain and restriction.
Come join Christy as we explore our muscular system and gain a deeper understanding of how our body moves and works.
- Describe the structure and function of major muscle groups in the upper and lower extremities, trunk, and core.
- Identify and palpate key muscles and bony landmarks with accuracy during guided lab practice.
- Differentiate the roles of muscles acting as agonists, antagonists, and synergists in human movement.
- Apply stretching and massage techniques targeted to specific muscles and functional groups.
- Demonstrate integration of anatomical knowledge through muscle mapping and peer teaching activities.
This class will be held at: JLA Office 3255 N. Major Dr. Beaumont, TX on Saturday & Sunday June 13 & 14, 2026 from 9 am-4 pm.
Tuition is $130 for AMTA members, $170 for non-members.
