Mandee Davis

My name is Mandee Davis and am excited to start this new adventure as a Golden Triangle AMTA volunteer. I have resided in Orange County Texas for the last 20 years and have come to call Southeast Texas home.
I became interested in Massage Therapy many years ago and made it a reality in 2019 when I earned my license as a therapist. I started out on a mission to connect with people on a physical interactive level, but once I got involved, I learned that it was far more than just making a connection with people. It was an incredible journey for me learning the effects and rewards of massage. It became my desire to give back and bring enlightenment to those not familiar with massage benefits.
I strive to do Massage Therapy full time and am working on building a spot of my own where I live. I work full time as a Corporate Controller and intermittently offer massages at a local spa when they have a big event/gathering, as well as providing in-home massages. I rented a space to do massages when I first received my license to allow for opportunity and experience as I worked to perfect my massage skills.
Massage, as we know, provides so many benefits for relief physically, mentally, and sometimes emotionally. That puts a lot of weight on our capabilities and profession, but the results cannot be denied, and each individual’s experience is unique. It is so great how our profession is so diverse and beneficial to many.
With a culture that has moved away from physically interacting. We provide benefits that are immeasurable and help to bring us back together. I am a firm believer in the benefits of our service and honored to be a part of the Texas Chapter and look forward to the expansion across Texas. Hope to see you soon at regional meetings.
Tonya Cowart
My name is Tanya Cowart.

I am happily married to my wonderful husband of 33 years. We have 5 kids between the ages of 19-31 and 2 grand babies who are 18 months. My mother lives with us as I serve as her caregiver.
Family is the most important thing to me, so owning my own business, infinity Massage Care, allows me to monitor my mother and help with my grandbabies. I was inspired to become a therapist to help my elderly parents. In the future, I would love to be more of a traveling therapist for elderly clients who need help to improve circulation in their legs and to generally help with their wellbeing.
My family and I are dedicated supporters of Alzheimers.org participating annually in the Beaumont 5k in October. This disease has affected and is still affecting our lives. Many of our loved ones have succumbed to this disease. I hope to provide support to those I visit in my massage business who might be fighting diseases like Alzheimers.
I am excited to collaborate with others in our region to plan with and support other therapists. As the AMTA Golden Triangle co-coordinator, I want to work side by side with other therapists and lend a listening ear to the ideas and worries of those in our profession.
