Regional Education Opportunities

The Texas Chapter of AMTA is dedicated to bringing learning opportunities to all regions throughout the state. Through collaborative efforts between Chapter leadership and Regional Coordinators there are multiple chances for members, and non-members, to grow their skills in the profession.

Join the Ft Worth region of the Texas AMTA for a Holiday gathering!  Let’s connect, enjoy connection, eat good food, and have fun for the holidays!  Wear your holiday finest and let’s make it special!

Location: Cheesecake Factory   455 Commerce St (Sundance Square)   Ft Worth, TX 76102
Time:  Saturday, December 21 from 4-6 pm (parking is free with validation) at the following garages: Garage 3 (345 W. 3rd st) or Garage 4 (265 W. 5th st)

The meeting is free and food is provided. RSVP is requested. You may bring a guest and their meal will be included (up to $25 per person).  Please include the guest in your RSVP

You don’t have to be an AMTA member to attend–all therapists and students are welcome.  Bring a fellow therapist or feel free to share this email and let’s grow our community!

The El Paso/Edge of Texas region of the Texas Chapter of the American Massage Therapy Association invites you to register for a two day 12 hour CE class, Trigger Point Therapy with Indira Rubio (ella habla español).

Looking for a tool that can add pain reduction and increase Range of Motion for all your clients? Want to learn how to encourage your client to work with you to effectively relieve pain?  This class can answer your questions.

Come join Indira as you learn an effective way to reduce pain and increase range of motion for your clients.

What the class will include: 

  • Understanding of the mechanism of trigger point release
  • Location of common trigger points
  • Hands-on practice to release the trigger points and spasms

DATES: Saturday & Sunday, January 18 & 19, 2025 from 9:30 am-4:30 pm  each day

Tuition is $80 for AMTA members, $120 for non-members.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:

Indira is proficient in techniques such as Muscle taping, Trigger Point, Sports Massage, PNF stretching and Lymphatic drainage. She has developed her own rehabilitation techniques and injury management therapies. As an instructor, Indira is most passionate about seeing her students grow as professionals. As a therapist, she has used her techniques on clients with severe physical conditions with a high success rate. Ella habla Español.
