Regions
The Texas Chapter of the American Massage Therapy Association relies on volunteer members to build community and provide educational opportunities to its members. With a state this large, it is important to build community locally as well as statewide. To accomplish this, we look to members in local regions to help create community and educational opportunities. Each region has 1-3 (occasionally more) coordinators helping to bring events to your area.
Below you will see a map of the different regions and a link to the regions. Each region’s page contains information about the coordinators, past and upcoming events and photos, and links to the coordinators.
We invite our members to join in our community events, share your ideas, and volunteer to grow your network and community.

Let’s explore Cold Stone Therapy!
Join us for our free April meeting as we join in community and explore the use of massage tools, including Cold Stone Therapy
The AMTA San Antonio region will enjoy a presentation and discussion by Tina Payton on cold stone therapy and other massage tools.
Come meet other therapists, gather and share information, and enjoy good food. Food will be provided.
There is no cost to attend. All therapists are welcome, so feel free to bring a colleague or fellow therapist to meet others. You do not need to be an AMTA member to attend. Students are always welcome.

Let’s Explore Trauma with a Certified Trauma Touch Therapist
Join the Dallas AMTA region as we learn about Trauma, Trauma Touch, and mental health from Trauma Touch Therapist Renee Houston. We will gain valuable insights into how massage therapy can contribute to mental wellness and learn about collaborative opportunities with mental health practitioners.

The Coastal Bend region of the Texas AMTA invites you to join us for a free fantastic evening of connection and fun at our upcoming Meet & Eat event! Whether you’re a seasoned pro, a student eager to learn, or waiting to test, this event is for you! Let’s come together, share experiences, and enjoy delicious snacks in great company. Don’t miss out on this chance to network and build relationships with fellow therapists

You do not have to be a member of AMTA to attend. Students are welcome. Feel free to invite colleagues and other therapist friends. RSVP is requested but don’t let it stop you from coming if you don’t. Food is provided (if you bring a non therapist they are responsible for their own food).
