Regions
The Texas Chapter of the American Massage Therapy Association relies on volunteer members to build community and provide educational opportunities to its members. With a state this large, it is important to build community locally as well as statewide. To accomplish this, we look to members in local regions to help create community and educational opportunities. Each region has 1-3 (occasionally more) coordinators helping to bring events to your area.
Below you will see a map of the different regions and a link to the regions. Each region’s page contains information about the coordinators, past and upcoming events and photos, and links to the coordinators.
We invite our members to join in our community events, share your ideas, and volunteer to grow your network and community.

About the Instructor:
Jessica Johnson, LMT, CMLDT, CLT
Massage Therapist, Owner of Austin Lymphatic, & Founder of Integrative Lymphatic Therapy, Music Lover, Outdoor Enthusiast
For more than a decade, Jessica has dedicated herself to perfecting her expertise in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD). She is the proud owner of Austin Lymphatic and the visionary founder of Integrative Lymphatic Therapy (ILT). Recognizing the immense healing potential of this specialized technique, she has taken her practice to new heights by developing (ILT). This approach combines the therapeutic benefits of MLD with her own innovative technique, Active Lymphatic Release (ALR). She further enhances her treatments with complementary modalities from various holistic disciplines, such as massage cupping, kinesio taping, and scar tissue intervention.
As demand for her technique grew, Jessica faced the challenge of balancing her desire to help everyone in need with the limitations of hands-on work. In response, she pursued a teaching license to pass on her knowledge to a growing team of lymph-focused practitioners at Austin Lymphatic. Through workshops, seminars, and writing contributions, she strives to promote a more comprehensive and gentler approach to healing.
At the core of Jessica’s passion lies an urgent drive to elevate the perception of lymphatic therapy in the healthcare field. She firmly believes that this technique’s true potential goes beyond aesthetics and extends to supporting overall health and wellness. With a specific focus on autoimmune conditions, cancer recovery, pre & post-surgical interventions, and various general health issues, Jessica advocates for implementing lymphatic massage as an integral part of holistic care.
Maintaining a healthy work-life balance has always been a central part of her philosophy and one of the many reasons she chose massage therapy as a career. Jessica often takes breaks from it all to enjoy the outdoors, family & friends, singing & dancing and tries her best to find time to do absolutely nothing and sit and breathe. She encourages everyone to do the same!
