We invite you to join the Austin region of the Texas AMTA for our monthly community building meeting as we focus on Intake Forms.

This meeting is all about making sure your intake forms, not only meet the state requirements, but work for your specific practice.  Bring your intake form to share. We will also have samples and the state requirements. Let’s make sure we are compliant and getting the best information from our clients.

Dallas Region – Learn about Lymphedema! @ The Health Collective

Join us for the FREE AMTA meeting as we gather, elevate each other, network, and learn about lymphedema!

Join the Dallas AMTA region as we welcome Heather Evans, Certified Lymphedema Therapist as she discusses Lymphedema.

Topics include: 

  • what lymphedema is from an anatomical perspective,
  • why it’s different than just swelling,
  • the mechanics of why Manual Compression works,
  • and how it can go wrong.

This opportunity to learn from a renowned therapist is free and food will be provided. 

About the presenter:

Dr Evans is a Chiropractor, Licensed Massage Therapist, and Certified Lymphedema Therapist. She specializes in the treatment of lymphedema, generalized post operative swelling, scar tissue management, and musculoskeletal alignment. She has worked fulltime as a lymphedema therapist for 27 years. Originally with severe cases in hospitals, Sub-Acute Rehab facilities and wound care facilities, outpatient physical therapy clinics, home health care, and currently in private practice for the last 18 years. Her training includes Casley-Smith, Vodder, Chikly, and advanced at the Foeldi Clinic in Hinterzarten Germany. Heather is a certified Lymphedema Therapist with the Lymphology Association of North America and is recognized as an expert clinician by the National Lymphedema Network.
